The Donetsk railway received a new electric train

Donetsk, the 15th of January 2008. The Donetsk railway received a new suburban electric train of the EPL2T026 series, made by Holding open joint stock company “Lugans’kteplovoz”.

Creating the electric train all remarks and wishes of railwaymen as for the traffic safety were taken into consideration. There were electric speedometer and computer system “Nytka” that controls the heating box knots, lighting, and heating, fire prevention warning and also signaling the appearance of strangers, established. The informational passengers system and locomotive signaling were improved.

Electric train of the third class with half soft places includes eight wagons and 958 passenger places. In order to improve the labor conditions for locomotive brigade electric train equipped with air-conditioning.
 

Construction speed of the electric train is 130km/hour, and that permits to use it on speed parts.
