Workers of the Ministry of Emergency Affairs rescued two kids

In November 10, at 17.10 a message about the balcony fire on the 8th floor of the 8-storeyed house in Mahistralnyj housing estate in Makiyivka city came to operational centre of the Ministry of Emergency Affairs. Subdivisions of the 19th and 20th independent state departments (2 tank trucks and auto ladder) were sent to the place of fire.

Neighboring flat was also filled with smoke. For examination of the smoked flats there was created a group of gas and smoke protecting service, which included captain of civil protection service Yurij Derkachenko and sergeants of civil protection service Spartak Kairtsya and Oleksandr Poberezhnyuk. While examining the neighboring flat there were appeared two kids. Rescuers brought 4-months Veronika and 2 years old Danyl to fresh air and put them into fire automobile. Kids did not suffer a lot and were given to their mother. Later, fire was liquidated. Building rubbish was on fire on the balcony of the neighboring flat. Antecedent reason of the fire – careless treatment of fire by unknown person.

 

Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Affairs in Donetsk region addresses the population: “do not heap up balconies, basements and stairways with rubbish! This year, firemen of Donechchyna rescued from fire 80 people, including 13 children.
