Prime-Minister of Ukraine Yuliya Tymoshenko conducted teleconference
First deputy chairman of the regional state administration Serhiy Derhunov took part in teleconference under leadership of Prime-Minister of Ukraine Yuliya Tymoshenko.
During the conference the question about budget project for 2009 and introduction of changes into Budget codex was considered. Conference participants analyzed the budget project that was given to Supreme Rada of Ukraine. All drawbacks and comments were taken into consideration.
“Macroeconomic indices that are put into the budget for 2009 – practically symbolize high macroeconomic stability, consolidation of governors, National bank, all its deposits in order to hold inflation indices for a year in the framework of one number, i.e. to 10%”, said Prime-Minister of Ukraine Yuliya Tymoshenko.
Basic branches chosen as priority for 2009 are education, science and culture. Due to economic growth, for these outputs is planned serious increase of costs.
Thus:
- education – increase to almost 33%;
- science and scientific activity – almost 33%;
- activity of the National Academy of Sciences – 35%;
- scientific developments of the Ukrainian Academy of agrarian sciences – 43%;
- culture – almost in 2.5 times.
As far as Budget codex changes are concerned, so Prime-Minister noted that: “In the first part Supreme Rada proclaimed changes to Budget codex of Ukraine that mean increase of local budgets to 7.5 billions hryvnias”.
During the conference the problematic questions that appeared in local authorities were considered and protocol orders to their solving are formed.
