Fire-applied sports is a sport for strong, manly and courageous people

On June 17, 2008 the 17-th championship of Ukraine in fire-applied sports has begun on stadium "Olympic" in Donetsk. The best sportsmen-firemen (31 commands) from all Ukraine have arrived to the capital of Donbass to show their skills and mastery. On an official part of competitions were present: the judge of the international category, the master of sports the colonel of service of civil protection Oleksander Tarasov, the deputy mayor Mykolay Volkov, the chief of Central administrative board of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Ukraine in Donetsk region Andriy Bondarenko.

 

The main judge of the championship Oleksander Tarasov - the numerous champion of Soviet Union, being the member of the sports command of the Ukrainian SSR has opened competition. He told that despite of unfavourable weather, all sportsmen should show the best results. The main judge has wished all fast starts and bright victories.

 

Creative collectives of Donechchyna have acted with the entertaining program before the present.

The first day, sportsmen competed in overcoming a 100-meter strip with obstacles. Spectators have seen the fascinating, bright moments of sharp and inflammatory wrestling on stadium.
