Coordination council meeting devoted to preparing and caring out of Euro-2012 in Ukraine

Today, at 10 o’clock in the morning, the RSA chairman Volodymyr LOGVYNENKO will take part in the Coordination council meeting devoted to preparing and caring out of Euro-2012 Football Championship final part in Ukraine. The meeting will be held in Secretariat of the President of Ukraine.
The present will consider the implementation of the Coordination council protocol decisions and President of Ukraine decrees for preparing and caring out of EURO-2012 in Ukraine; Organizational committee working plan devoted to preparing and caring out of Euro-2012 Football Championship final part for 2008 in Ukraine; preparing of the agreement between Ukraine and Poland about the cooperation in the organization of Euro-2012 Football Championship final part and financing of actions for preparing and caring out of the EURO-2012 in Ukraine by state and local budgets.

Reference:
In the Donetsk region there developed and realized the regional purpose program “Providing of preparing and caring out Euro-2009 final parts between juniors till 19 and Football Championship Euro-2012 in the Donetsk region” and purpose program of the Donetsk as a recipient.

In particular, there developed Concepts:
- medical-sanitary providing;
- cultural and tourist services;
- preparing of sport edifices.

While creating the Agreement about the regional development of the Donetsk region, the region state administration took into consideration the actions devoted to development of automobile road network, transport infrastructure, construction, fundamental hostel repairing, culture establishments, reconstruction of sport buildings and others, according to UEFA standards. In accordance with the Regional program, general amount of financing is 32.6 milliards of hryvnjas, including:

- state budget assets – 14.2
- local budgets – 1.8
- investors – 16.6
The realization of the following projects is planned:
- building of a new stadium “Shakhtar” for 50 thousands places of the “five stars” class;
- reconstruction of the five stadiums in cities – Donetsk (“Olimpijskyj”, “Maksi”, “Olimpic”), Mariupol’ (“Zakhidnyj”, “Azovets’”);
- building of a new artificial runway and a new airport terminal complex, technical re-equipping of the International Donetsk airport;

- re-equipping of the Donetsk railway station;
- building of three new modern auto roads (200 km);
- building of two new auto stations in Donetsk;
- building of a new five-star hotel, two four-star and fifteen two-, three-star hotels with general number – 1300 places;
- fundamental repair and equipping of 21 hostels with general number – 8.5 thousands places;
- renewing of city electric transport and auto transport rolling stock, bringing into order technical stand of tram and trolleybus lines.
